We worked with Kitchen Ventures in developing a comprehensive go-to market strategy, a detailed growth plan developed from market research, a comprehensive presentation for Investor engagement and a financial model to support in their fundraising. The deliverables supported the organisation in raising the investment required in order to further grow their business.

The client

Kitchen Ventures is one of  the UK’s fastest growing cloud kitchen start-up’s. They work with world class chefs to design their menus, in collaboration with celebrities who support in elevating their brands and in building a large audience. They have rapidly evolved the standard of fresh, seasonal, high quality food in the online food delivery market and are soon expanding globally with their brands. Their mission; to make fresh, delicious, chef-cooked food accessible to every neighbourhood via our network of cloud kitchens.

The challenge​

The main challenge was evaluating the appetite over time of various cloud kitchen revenue models identified in the market research. These included i) Real estate play, ii) Virtual restaurant model, iii) Operations model and iv) Platform Play. Due to the wide capability of the business, and attractive avenues which could be capitalised with growth, developing a detailed growth plan was key. 

How we did it

By working closely with the founder during the development of the growth plan, we were able to refine the service offering of the business at various stages of growth, and build out a comprehensive financial model to reflect this accordingly. This supported the development of clear and coherent messaging throughout the investor engagement presentation, aiding in subsequent raising of capital.
